Smell ya later, 2016.

That’s a wrap for 2016 for us, folks. It was a hectic year full of ups and downs. We started the year off by finishing our new album, Ship of Fools. It was such a joy to make. I want to send lots of love to our amazing producer, Marcus Paquin; thank you for your inspiration. We then followed this up with US tour around SXSW, dates around Quebec and a festival play at Osheaga. Also, our single “Andromeda” started getting heavy rotation on CHOM FM in Montreal; the station that I grew up listening to. Thanks for supporting local music, guys!

With the digital release of Ship of Fools, we toured throughout the east and west coast of the US and made our first foray into Alberta. Was very nice to see Western Canada feeling the stone.

We then ended the year with the physical release of the album on Burger Records and our return to UK and Europe after a 2 year absence. This last trip was special as I brought along my brother in-laws, Rob and Bowen, as our driver and photographer/roadie, respectively. I really love touring Europe and am sending hope that we never letter fear rule or control us. We must live our lives with our arms and eyes wide open.

As a little memento of our last trip, Bowen has put together a collection of photos from road… I reconnected with a lot of old friends and made many news ones. Enjoy and see you all in 2017.
